Motorcycle trip through the Peruvian Andes to visit one of the new seven wonders "Machu Picchu" and the deepest canyon in the world "The Colca Canyon".
You will start your motorcycle adventure in Cusco Region and will have unforgettable rides through the Cusco's main tourist attractions such as: Cusco nearby Inca archaeological sites, The Sacred Valley of the Incas and its winding dirt roads and finally the breathtaking views will be your constant companion along the amazing way to one of the new Seven Wonders of the World "Machu Picchu". Then you will continue your motorcycle adventure from Cusco to Arequipa region, you will have a challenging trip full of amazing Andean views to get to the Colca Valley and visit the Colca Canyon where you will have the chance to see the Andean Condor soaring above the canyon’s cliff face, finally you will visit “La Ciudad Blanca de Arequipa” White City, and its beautiful countryside of Yanahuara which is an amazing viewpoint of the Misti Volcano.
AM Arrival to Cusco and transfer to your hotel.
PM Briefing to cover the general aspects of the tour, after that, we begin our motorcycle around Cusco to visit the beautiful Inca site such as: The fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Pucapucara and finally Tambomachay popularly known as Incas' Bath.
AM We begin our motorcycle trip to the Sacred Valley riding to the northeast of Cusco. The first part of the trip (from Cusco to Moray Inca complex) will be on dirt road (42 km.) on the way we will visit 2 beautiful lagoons and enjoy amazing views of mountains that surround the Valley, we have a guided visit in Moray Inca complex and the Salt Mines of Maras, after that, we continue our adventure going down to the Urubamba Valley.
PM We have lunch in thevalley and then we continue our ride to visit Ollantaytambo known as “the living Inca city”. After visit Ollantaytambo we will park the bikes and then stay a night in this beautiful town.
AM We begin our motorcycle adventure following a winding paved road that leads into the Andes till get to highest point called Abra Malaga (4310m.a.s.l) where we will have a stop to see the amazing view of Veronica snowcapped mountain. After our stop, we will begin an exciting decent to the jungle eyebrow until arrive to Santa Teresa town where we will have Lunch.
PM After lunch we will store the bikes and then take our bus to the train station "Hidroelectrica".
PM Arrival to Aguas Calientes train station and transfer to your hotel.
Early in the morning we begin our uphill hiking (1 1/2 hours) to the ancient Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, if you have a bit of luck we will be able to see the sunrise. You will have a guided tour by 2.5 hours, after that you can visit the Huaynapicchu Mountain, from this point you can get an unforgettable view of Machu Picchu. After our amazing tour we take the bus back to Aguas Caleintes town. Have Lunch.
PM We board the train back to Hydroelectric train station and finally we will take the bus to Santa Teresa Town. You can visit the hot-springs located near the town (Optional).
AM After breakfast we will begin our motorcycle adventures from Santa Teresa to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, will follow a steep and winding road until reach the highest point Called Abra Malaga (4310 m.a.s.l) where we have a stop to take some pictures. from Abra malaga pass we begin an exciting descent to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Lunch in Urubamba town.
PM We will continue riding through the Sacred Valley until arrive to Pisac town, from this point we ride uphill to the Inca citadel of Pisac. After visit Pisac we start our ride back to Cusco.
PM Arrive to Cusco and transfer to the hotel..
We begin the journey riding through the mountains following a narrow road which leads high in the mountains until get an elevation of 4000masl. Then we will descent and cross an amazing area hittning some colorful valleys up to get to Pomacanchi village where we will visit its beautiful lake and have lunch.
PM We continue our adventure riding through this beautiful Andean plateau area until get to Espinar town where we will stay a night. Amazing views will be our constant companion.
AM We start our adventure taking a nice road which leads to a beautiful area where we can find a real impressive scenery of three small canyons where the Cayumani River, Tambo Cerri river join the Apurimac River. After this amazing stop we continue our motorcycle adventure and hit a road which leads high in the Andes to reach Chivay Village. Amazing views will be our constant companion.
PM Arrive to Chivay and transfer to your Hotel.
You can visit Calera hot-springs (Optional).
Early in the morning we begin our adventure in the Colca canyon riding uphill to the famous place known as "Cruz del Condor" where we will have the opportunity to see the Andean Condor soaring above the canyon’s cliff face. Afterwards we continue our motorcycle adventure through Colca Canyon getting beautiful views of the Colca Valley, the Colca river and ancient terraces still in use by the local farmers. On the ride back to Chivay we will visit some beautiful villages. We have lunch in Chivay town and afterwards we begin our motorcycle tour to Arequipa. On the way we will visit the viscuñas national reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca.
PM Arrival to Arequipa and transfer to your hotel.
Morning at leisure.
PM City tour by bus.
AM Transfer to the Airport.
