Cusco weather is generally dry and temperate, with two defined seasons. The wet season lasts from November to March, with night frost less common: November averages 13.4 °C (56.1 °F). Although frost and hail are common, snow is virtually unheard of.

Maras is located 40 kilometers north of Cuzco, in the Cuzco Region of Peru. The town is well known for its nearby salt evaporation ponds, in use since Inca times. The salt-evaporation ponds are up-slope, less than a kilometer west of the town.
Moray is located approximately 55 km (31 miles) northwest of Cuzco on a high plateau at about 3500 m (11,500 feet) and just west of the village of Maras. The site contains unusual Inca ruins, mostly consisting of several enormous terraced circular depressions.
You will find along the south valley two amazing Inca archaeological remains Tipon and Pikillacta, you can also visit the colonial town of Andahuaylillas. You need 6 hours to visit this circuit (Itinerary).
Lares Hot springs is located approximately 120 Kilometers of Cusco and 1 km of Lares Town, close the Lares Valley. It’s one of the most popular hot spring in Cusco Region.

The Salkantay peak is located in the Cordillera Vilcanota, a prominent mountain range in the Andes; it is northwest of Cusco and south of Machu Picchu.
